Kei Sato about his project:

"I have been trying to connect Kyrgyzstan and Japan in active and friendly way, and I discovered the felt products produced by TUMAR.  The traditional felt making, which has been updated by TUMAR in modern production method and unique new designs, is the best example of how the past tradition and today's culture can be connected, while it also reminds us of the strong relationship between nature and people.  I would like to introduce TUMAR products to Japanese people with those background stories, while I also try to participate in finding the possibilities of designs utilizing wool felt."
