The “Interior Items” exibition

The exhibition under the title “Interior Items” opened in TUMAR shop on August, 2.

Here various lines of interior items are presented in traditional materials as ceramics of small and large forms, shirdaks, ala- kyiz, woven carpets, wall panels with embroidery and patchwork.

But this exhibition couldn’t be such interesting if there were no surprises!

Our young and talented group of ceramics masters:

Abdiev Talant, Baktiev Jyrgalbek,Jenishpekov Taalai, Kydybaev Nurlan, Janybekov Nurgazy, Ismailova Meerim presented their products in a wide variety of forms and with absolutely new original ornaments as textile motives. Probably, they invented a secret of drawing such patterns on a ceramic surface. Here you can find small caskets, group of table-ware products such as cups, plates, vases, jars, and high floor-standing vases, large plates.

Textile workshop under the guidance of Aigul Dyushenalieva made new line of interior items using Uzbek fiber “ikat- shoyi”:

Flavor is “Textile Pictures” – wall panels put under glass in a frame. Here are pillows of hand stitch. All of them are combined by pattern and color range and you can choose your own set.

Going on developing interior subject we prepared one more specialty for you!

We present an industrial felt with perforation in a separately developed line of products by our designer Olesya Roskos:

“Pomegranate” and “Flowers” line: curtains, lamps, pillows, decoration ribbons for table and napkins under the hot pots.

And our traditional techniques did not remain uninvolved.

You can find wide choice of shirdaks made in a workshop of Mustapaeva Aisha – shirdaks stitched by Naryn version, and in a workshop of Ermentaeva Gulnara – shirdaks stitched in black and white version.

Also, line of woven interior products made by family workshop of Akbutaev Askar and workshop of the Union of National Handicrafts:

carpets, pillows.

One more surprise is a special offer of the ceramics masters in which any guest or stranger can take part!

Near the Tumar shop you are welcome by real potter’s wheel, there are potter, container with water and … young but skilful master from our group of ceramics masters. We already observe how satisfied residents and guests of Bishkek try themselves in pottery.

All your works will be carefully and accurately dry and burned upon completion of the event. And after August, 16 you can take them in TUMAR!

The exhibition is held August 2-6.
