Every time on the eve of New Year celebration somewhere deep in the mountains tens of thousands of trees and firs are cut down in the sake of decorating our homes only for a few days and giving us another opportunity of a sense of celebration, the freshness... and hope.

They recall old times of children's parties, gifts in paper bags with handles and real Santa Clauses by its fragrant scent. And then, after a while, when the dust settles, expectations will come true (or not), when life returns to its normal course – these trees are to be thrown in the trash in our yards, lying at the roadside, causing a feeling of pity and disgust ...

The purpose of the competition is making the most original models of "Christmas tree" ​​of various materials (paper, cardboard, wood, metal, glass, plastic, etc.), comparing modern versions of the concept of "Tree of Life" and demonstrating articulated author concepts.
